Description
A collection of Gorham sterling silver hollowware in the Puritan pattern. The group features a classic urn-shaped design with pedestal bases and scrolling handles. Included are a coffee pot, a teapot, a lidded sugar bowl, a creamer, and an open waste bowl. The coffee and tea pots are constructed with insulated spacers in the handles. Each piece is stamped with the Gorham manufacturer marks including the lion, anchor, and G hallmarks, alongside Sterling and the pattern numbers 451 through 455. The collection also contains several additional footed bowls, including one marked Presner Sterling Weighted 765.
Teapot height: approximately 10 inches.
Condition report:
Items exhibit surface wear, fine scratches, dents, and minor tarnish consistent with age and use. Internal residue is visible within the lidded vessels. Art is from a clean smoke free home.
