Description
A cast bronze bust titled The Plainsman by Terry J. Murphy, dated 1974. The sculpture depicts a Western figure with long hair and a mustache, wearing a wide-brimmed hat and a collared jacket with a knotted necktie. The piece is finished with a dark brown patina and is set upon a circular, two-tiered wooden base featuring a brass title plaque. The reverse of the bronze is signed Terry J. Murphy and dated 74, alongside the fractional edition number 4/20. The bottom of the wooden base is covered in green felt.
Height: 11.5 inches.
Condition report:
Overall good condition. The bronze shows minimal surface wear. The wooden base exhibits minor scuffs and surface scratches consistent with age and handling. Art is from a clean smoke free home.
