Description
A pair of original pencil drawings on paper by artist Dan Jordan, executed in a realistic style. The first work, titled Tough as Leather, depicts a portrait of an elderly bearded man in a wide-brimmed hat and is signed and dated Dan Jordan 85 in the lower right. The second work, titled Montana – 1898, shows a man in a fur coat holding a rifle and is signed and dated Dan Jordan 89 in the lower right. Both works are matted and housed in molded wood frames under glass. The reverse of each frame includes handwritten titles, artist signatures, and printed contact labels for the artist based in Wauconda, Washington. Stamped notations on the frame reverse indicate a size of 14 by 18 inches.
Frame width: 18.5 inches.
Condition report:
The works appear to be in good overall condition. There is minor surface wear and light scuffing to the wooden frames consistent with age and handling. The works have not been examined out of the frames. Art is from a clean smoke free home.
