Description
A Victorian style five-light candelabrum manufactured by the Derby Silver Co. The piece is constructed from quadruple silver plate and features a central light flanked by four scrolled arms. The decorative program includes cast and repoussé floral and foliate motifs, specifically sunflowers around the base and acanthus leaves along the branches. The underside of the base bears the stamped marks DERBY SILVER CO., QUADRUPLE PLATE, 2570, and PATENT APPLIED FOR. Additionally, several hand-etched inventory numbers are visible, including 1689, 5747, and 8527.

Condition report:
The item exhibits an aged patina with visible surface tarnishing and minor wear to the silver plating. A small structural crack or seam separation is present at one of the scroll arm joints. One of the arms (the one with the small crack) does have some movement if you try to adjust it. You can see the lean in some of the images also.
