Description
A framed and matted wildlife artwork titled Summer’s End – The Last of the Huckleberries by artist Robert MacGinnis. The composition, executed in watercolor or gouache, depicts a chickadee perched on the rim of a woven basket filled with huckleberries. The subject is surrounded by autumn foliage, Indian paintbrush wildflowers, and a butterfly. The work is signed and dated © Robert MacGinnis ’83 in the lower right corner. The reverse of the piece features a handwritten title, date, and signature on the backing board. The artwork is housed in a wooden frame with a double mat consisting of a textured cream outer mat and a reddish-orange inner mat under glass.

Condition report:
The piece is in good overall condition. The wooden frame shows minor surface wear and light scuffing consistent with age. Art is from a clean smoke free home.
