Description
A framed and matted maritime print by artist Christopher Blossom, dated 1984. The artwork depicts a winter scene of a harbor town with brick buildings, figures, and horse-drawn carriages, set against a background of several tall-masted ships. The piece is hand-signed and dated Christopher Blossom © 1984 in the lower right corner. It is housed in an ornate, dark-toned wood frame with a linen-textured matting under glass. A gallery label from Howard/Mandeville Gallery is affixed to the reverse.
Frame: 35 x 26 inches.
Condition report:
The print appears to be in good condition. The frame exhibits significant damage, including various large chips and areas of missing decorative molding on several corners and edges. There is a visible crack in the lower-left miter joint. The paper backing on the reverse is torn. Art is from a clean smoke free home.
