Description
Custom handcrafted prop of the Axe Bass from the animated series Adventure Time. The body is constructed from corrugated cardboard and painted in red and textured brown. It features four silver-toned cord strings, three silver-painted pickups, and a silver-painted bridge. The two control knobs are made from repurposed white plastic bottle caps. The piece includes four white tuning pegs set into the headstock. The front of the red body displays several hand-drawn illustrations and signatures in black marker. These include a drawing of a round-headed character with the name PEN written below, which is the signature style of series creator Pendleton Ward. Additional drawings include the character BMO with a stylized BMO signature, a character drawing resembling Jake the Dog, and an additional cursive signature accompanied by a caricature wearing glasses.

Condition report:
This item is in used, handcrafted condition. Construction elements are visible, including hot glue residue around the headstock and bridge. The brown textured paint on the blade edges shows surface pitting and small air bubbles. The cardboard edges exhibit some fraying and rough-cut areas. One tuning peg appears loose or misaligned. The cord strings show minor fraying at the anchor points.
