Description
This framed genre scene painting, resembling the work of Evert Pieters, depicts a domestic interior with a mother nursing an infant while a young child sits at a table near a sunlit window. Condition report:
The frame exhibits visible cracks at the mitered corners and small losses to the molded decorative elements. The paper backing on the reverse is significantly torn and deteriorating. Art is from a clean smoke free home.
