Description
A pair of framed lithographic prints by American artist George J. Bleich depicting Impressionist-style landscapes of Claude Monet’s gardens at Giverny. The scenes include a Japanese footbridge, lily ponds, and weeping willows. Each work is signed and dated by the artist in the lower corner, with dates of 1983 and 1984. One print is titled Fall in Giverny and is marked as edition 499/1000 with a 1984 copyright. The reverse of each piece contains extensive hand-written inscriptions by the artist, including poetry, personal dedications, references to Carmel By The Sea and original sketches of floral and coastal motifs. The prints are presented in ornate gold-toned frames with beaded inner borders and fabric-textured mats.

Condition report:
Good overall condition. Minor surface wear and light scuffing to the gilded frames consistent with age. Mats and prints appear well-preserved. Hand-written inscriptions and sketches on the reverse are clear and legible. Art is from a clean smoke free home.
