Description
A pair of maritime-themed pencil drawings on paper by artist Consuelo Eames Hanks. One work, titled Lunchtime in the lower right, depicts a seagull perched on a ship’s rigging featuring various ropes and a pulley. The companion piece, titled Passing to Port, shows a distant sailing vessel viewed through the foreground rigging of another ship. Both pieces are signed in pencil by the artist in the lower right and are presented under glass with blue-grey mats. The frames feature a textured inner border and a metallic-tone finish.

Condition report:
The drawings appear to be in good condition. The frames show minor surface wear and light scuffing consistent with age and handling. One frame retains a paper dust cover on the reverse, while the other shows an exposed wooden back and cardboard. Both frames are equipped with hanging wires. Art is from a clean smoke free home.
