Description
This original watercolor painting on paper is by the artist Earle G. Barlow. The work depicts a three-masted schooner at anchor in a winter maritime setting, featuring a snow-covered shoreline and a pine forest in the background. The piece is signed Earle G. Barlow and dated 1963 in the lower right corner. The artwork is presented within a double mat and protected by glass, housed in a dark wooden frame with a silver-toned finish. The reverse is finished with a paper backing and includes a hanging wire.
17.5 inches x 21.5 inches.
Condition report:
Minor foxing is visible on the upper-left portion of the matting. The frame exhibits light surface wear and small scuffs to the edges. The watercolor itself appears to be in stable condition. Art is from a clean smoke free home.
