Description
This 1991 limited edition offset lithograph, titled Pillars of a Nation, is by artist Jim Daly and was published by Mill Pond Press, Inc. The work is a reproduction of an original oil painting and depicts a contemporary realist scene of immigrants in a large hall, identified as Ellis Island, featuring various men, women, and children with their belongings against a background of arched windows and an American flag. This specific piece is from the Prestige Edition, hand-numbered 877/950 in the lower left margin and hand-signed by the artist in the lower right margin. The print is produced on canvas-textured paper. Included with the lot is a matching Certificate of Authenticity from Mill Pond Press, Inc., Venice, Florida.
