Description
This limited edition maritime lithograph is titled Boston Waiting for the Dawn by artist John Stobart. The work depicts a historical harbor scene at dawn featuring square-rigged sailing vessels, a horse-drawn wagon, and cargo barrels on a wooden pier. It is a signed and numbered print from an edition of 950, with the number 827/950 inscribed in pencil in the lower right margin. The artist signature is hand-signed in pencil adjacent to the edition number. The image also contains a printed signature and date of 1987 within the plate. Published by Maritime Heritage Prints, Inc., the print includes a copyright date of 1988 and printed text along the top edge detailing its provenance from the original 1987 painting. The piece is unframed on heavy paper stock.

Condition report:
The print is in overall good condition. There are minor instances of foxing and small brownish stains visible in the white margins, primarily near the bottom edge. The paper shows light handling wear and minor rippling. The image area remains clear and well-preserved. Art is from a clean smoke free home.
