Description
A limited edition maritime art print by Geoff Hunt titled The Hundred Days: Frigate Squadron Cleared for Night Action. The work depicts a collection of sailing frigates including the Surprise, Rainbow, Pomone, Ganymede, Dover, Briseis, and Ringle navigating heavy seas. The piece is printed on heavy paper and carries a 1998 copyright from Mystic Seaport. The print is hand-numbered 471/500 in the lower-left margin and features a pencil signature by the artist in the lower-right margin. A pencil remarque depicting a ship rigging is present in the bottom left margin. Printed ship identifications are visible along the lower edge of the image.
Condition report:
The item is in good overall condition with minor signs of handling and light creasing along the margins. Art is from a clean smoke free home.
