Description
This mid-20th-century nautical art print on paper depicts the three-masted sailing ship Western Belle on a choppy sea under a cloudy sky. The vessel is shown with white sails fully deployed and an American flag at the stern. A printed inscription in script below the image reads Western Belle / Built at Bath, Maine 1876. The artist name Earle G. Barlow appears in the plate at the lower right corner of the image. A hand-signed pencil signature by the artist, Earle G. Barlow, is located below the printed image, accompanied by the date 7/24/68.

Condition report:
The piece shows visible signs of age and wear. Prominent foxing is present in the margins. There is light creasing throughout the paper and minor rippling along the top edge, consistent with previous storage in a rolled state. Art is from a clean smoke free home.
