The piece features an intricate repeating pattern of phoenixes with elaborate trailing plumage set against a vibrant blue ground populated with paulownia-style foliage and small flowers in shades of green, gold, and orange. The textile is mounted on a dark-finished, curved wooden hanging rod accented with off-white decorative tassels and suspension cords.
