Description
This is a limited edition lithographic print with hand coloring titled Cats Cradle by American artist Jim Daly, born 1940. Published in July 1991 by Mill Pond Press, the work is executed in a realistic Americana style. The image depicts a bearded man in early 20th-century attire seated on a trunk, demonstrating the string game cats cradle to a young girl and boy. The print is hand-signed in pencil by the artist in the lower right margin and is numbered 877 from a limited edition of 950. The lot is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity, biographical information about the artist, a descriptive sheet titled Pillars of a Nation, and an original mailing envelope. The work is printed on all-rag, acid-free paper with deckled edges.

Condition report:
The print is in very good condition with minor foxing and faint staining visible in the white margins. Light handling wear is present along the deckled edges of the paper. Art is from a clean smoke free home.
