Description
A pair of Swarovski Optik Habicht SLC 15×56 WB roof-prism binoculars. The instrument features a rugged forest green textured rubber-armored body designed for shock resistance and improved grip. This high-magnification model is equipped with a central focus wheel that incorporates an integrated diopter adjustment. One barrel is fitted with a raised rectangular plaque bearing the name SWAROVSKI. The central focus dial is marked SLC and 15x56WB in the center, with HABICHT printed around the outer circumference. A stylized hawk logo is present on the lower portion of one barrel. The underside of the bridge is marked with the serial number D772660460. The binoculars are accompanied by a gray-green padded textile carrying case featuring a metal hawk logo on the front flap and two metal grommets on the reverse. Protective accessories include two rubber objective lens covers and a black plastic ocular rainguard. The objective lenses measure 56mm and exhibit characteristic yellowish-green and reddish multi-coatings.
Condition report:
The binoculars appear to be in good professional condition. The 56mm objective lenses and eyepieces are clear and free of significant scratches, haze, or fungus. The rubber armor shows minor signs of handling but remains intact and well-adhered to the body. The central focus wheel and diopter adjustment operate through their intended range of motion. The folding bridge maintains proper tension and alignment. The carrying case and lens covers show light wear consistent with field use. It is possible these were never used, and only contain some dust from being stored.
