Description
A diverse collection of hardwood and softwood lumber, architectural moldings, and wood shop supplies. The lot features an assortment of dimensioned boards, sheets of plywood or fiberboard, and rough-sawn lumber. Identified species from visible markings include ash, West Coast curly maple, East Coast bird-eye maple, quartersawn sycamore, white oak, alder, teak, padauk, fir, cedar, and poplar. The assortment includes specialty stock such as figured grain pieces and quartersawn boards. The lot includes a mobile lumber cart with an integrated scrap bin containing numerous smaller offcuts. Many pieces are labeled with dimensions or finishing notes. Visible inscriptions include WEST COAST CURLY MAPLE, SYCAMORE 1/4 SAW, ASH, MAPLE, CEDAR, POPLAR, MAPLE BIRD-EYE EAST COAST, PADAUK, FIR, ALDER, TEAK, G 8 TEAK, QTR SAWN SYCAMORE, WHITE OAK, MAPLE , Teak (outside planks are all dried and quality wood). Condition report:
Condition varies depending on storage location. Indoor-stored boards show surface dust and cobwebs. Outdoor-stored lumber displays surface weathering, accumulation of organic debris, and moisture exposure. Many boards feature identifying markings in permanent marker or crayon on ends and faces. Minor edge splintering, chipping, and checking are present throughout the lot, typical of stored lumber.
