Description
This group of three decorative art glass pieces features a variety of 20th-century glassblowing techniques. The central item is a large Murano hand-blown art glass vase. It is constructed with clear glass containing internal vertical ribbons of emerald green and turquoise, accented by a cobalt blue rim. The form is organic with multiple pulled points and a triple-footed base consisting of two splayed legs and a third element fashioned into a tight scroll. The second item is a mid-century modern slender vase with a ruby red interior core encased in thick clear glass. It features a four-lobed pulled rim and three clear glass protrusions near the base. The third item is an iridescent pale pink glass vase with a flared ruffled rim. The lower body is decorated with a molded floral relief pattern above a scalloped pedestal foot.
Murano vase: 12.5 inches
Red vase: 9.75 inches
Pink vase: 8.75 inches.
Condition report:
The Murano glass sculpture is in excellent condition with no visible chips, cracks, or repairs to the delicate pulled points. The red encased glass vase is in good condition with no structural damage. The iridescent pink vase is in very good condition with minor dark spots of surface debris in the interior rim.
