Description
This lot consists of two woodworking machines: a Jet 16-inch bandsaw and a Delta dust collector. The Jet bandsaw, model JWBS-16 (Stock No. 708749, Serial No. K002971), is powered by a Jet 1-1/2 HP TEFC induction motor. The motor is rated for 115/230V, 11.5/5.8 Amps, 60 Hz, 1 Phase, and is currently prewired for 115V operation. It operates at 1720 RPM and has a manufacture date of January 2005. The saw features a large cast iron work table with a rip fence, an adjustable blade guide assembly, a blade tension scale, and a flexible work light. The motor bears UL registration mark E171548. The unit is mounted on a white steel mobile base with four locking casters. The accompanying Delta dust collector, model 50-850, is equipped with a 1.5 HP motor rated for 115/230V and is factory wired for 115V. It operates at 3450 RPM. The unit uses a two-bag filtration system and is mounted on a gray mobile base. The machines are interconnected with flexible hosing secured by duct tape and clamps.
Condition report:
Both units show moderate sawdust accumulation throughout the exterior frames and internal housings consistent with standard use in a workshop environment. The flexible dust collection hoses exhibit wear and have duct tape reinforcement at several connection points. The mobile bases show minor scuffs and paint chips. Both machines appear to be in good, maintained condition. Seller describes all tools as in good working condition - he is a fine woodworker and kept everything in very nice working order.
