Description
Robert Redbird (Kiowa, 1939-2016). A limited edition print on paper featuring a minimalist winter scene. The composition depicts three snow-covered evergreen trees and a tipi set against a dark, streaked gray sky. A lone figure draped in a reddish-brown traditional robe walks through the snowy foreground. The artwork is signed Robert Redbird in pencil in the lower left and hand-numbered 603/1000. The lower right corner features a printed signature reading Robert Redbird Kiowa along with a graphic of a feather and a copyright symbol. The piece is presented in a dark brown wood-grain frame with a double mat in shades of gray and brown. The verso is sealed with a brown paper dust cover and equipped with a wire for hanging.
14.125 x 17 in. (frame).
Condition report:
The print and frame are in very good to excellent condition with no visible signs of foxing, fading, or mechanical damage to the artwork. The frame is structurally sound with minimal surface wear. The paper dust cover on the reverse side has a few small tears and punctures.
