Description
This lot consists of a vintage Sears Craftsman 10 inch radial arm saw from the Radial 100 Line. The unit is bench-mounted on a custom built wooden storage cabinet and includes integrated dust collection components with associated hoses. The saw is equipped with a modern 10 inch Diablo D1040X 40 tooth carbide tipped miter/table saw blade. The motor and arm assembly feature a pull on and push off safety power control switch. Visible safety certifications include an orange UL listing mark and a Safety Seal from the Power Tool Institute. The top of the radial arm features instructional graphics for depth of cut, angle of cut, yoke pivot, carriage lock, blade angle, and power switch operation. The base plate is marked with C R A F T S M A N and the Radial 100 Line branding. The blade guard includes a danger warning and feeding instructions. The blade is rated for a maximum of 7000 RPM.
Condition report:
The equipment shows signs of heavy industrial use including significant sawdust accumulation throughout. There is visible paint loss and chipping on the metal carriage handles and various adjustment knobs. The wooden tabletop surface is heavily scored and worn from repeated use. Mechanical adjustment knobs and locking handles appear to be intact and present. The unit is mounted on a shop-built wooden cabinet that shows general workshop wear and tear. Operational status is untested. Seller describes all tools as in good working condition - he is a fine woodworker and kept everything in very nice working order.
